DYNAMYCIN W.S.P
The
Doxycycline Neomycin Water Soluble Powder is used for prevention and
treatment of bacterial infections including secondary bacterial
complications. It is also used for infectious coryza, enteritis, bacillary
white diarrhea, blue comb, coccidiosis with mixed bacterial infections,
septicemia, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, fowl cholera, early chick
mortality etc.

Composition: Each gram contains
Doxycycline
hydrochloride equivalent to Doxycycline 100 mg
Neomycin
sulphate equivalent to Neomycin 100 mg
Doxicycline
is lipophilic, resulting in higher tissue penetration, larger volumes of
distribution and better overall antimicrobial properties
Doxicycline
being excreted mainly in faeces, is the ideal for treating susceptible
infections when renal failure or renal insufficiency is a complicating factor
in antimicrobial therapy.
Doxicycline
has greater plasma protein binding which produces a prolonged half life of the
drug.
Neomycin
is the drug of choice for treating serious aerobic gram negative infections.
Neomycin
is used to treat or prevent the bacterial infections of the intestine.
Indications:
Poultry :
Chronic respiratory disease (CRD), E.Coli infections, fowl cholera, Pullorum
disease, infectious synovitis and prevention of early chick mortality.
Cattle, goat and sheep :
Respiratory tract infections, hemorrhagic septicemia, black quarter, anthrax,
bacterial enteritis, foot rot, wound, pneumonia and secondary bacterial
infections due to viral diseases.
Gastro-intestinal tract infections,
respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, genital tract
infections
